He was the star of the game in my opinion:

“I’ve proven that I can embrace different roles,” Stevens said. “I think that I’ve showed my teammates that whatever the situation may be, I’m going to play as hard as I can and try to be as good of a teammate I can be. I hope through all of this my teammates think that I’ve done everything that I can for this team. I hope that I’ve showed that to them.”

Another wonderful teammate. Great job Tommy.

We know he can run. I'd like to see more of what he can do throwing the ball.

I expected him take a lateral and throw but it never happened. Why didn't he play against OSU and MSU?

They did have him throw it after a handoff but they had him running to his left. He was pressured and sort of just flipped it to Barkley for a short gain. No idea why he didn't play against OSU or MSU (and pretty sure he didn't play against Iowa either--seems like he would have been a great option with our red zone struggles in that game).

Its hard to run the types of plays he runs when there is 2 or 3 DL running around in the backfield with him.

McGloin and McSorley have both proven that you can be very successful despite not being prototype tall, but still, being taller will bring some advantages. Glad we have a nice stable of QB's to draw from.

Typically when trace misses his throws , he misses high. Imo this is a result of being short and making a conscious effort to not have the pass blocked at the LOS

Translation, "If I stick around, I better be more involved in the offense next year, even if in a Slash role"

I still maintain that if he had been in the lineup against OSU or MSU, they are potentially different outcomes. I get that having defensive linemen around him is not a good thing, but if he's on the field with certain looks the entire defensive scheme has to take him into account. If he was protected because there was no 3rd string QB that had the staff's confidence, that is plain stupid.
