Alabama deserves to be there. They are dominant. I agree with Clemson being there. OSU is all based on rep. They beat OK in Norman in September. Would they beat them now. My "eye test" says no. They went to OT with a UM team that self destructed. Dantonio goes for 2 giving them a gift at MSU. They squeaked by Northwestern. They get credit for pummeling Rutgers and Maryland. PSU beats them when they are ranked 2 and beats Wisky when they are 6. 9 straight -- could make the argument based on the "eye test" we are the hottest team in college football. It's politics.

Washington got stomped by the best team they played in USC and gets rewarded for a cupcake schedule.

The polls and the computers came up with the same rankings as the committee. What's the point in having a committee if the end result is the same as the bias in the polls and computers.

I am happy for this team because to me they may be one of the most resilient PSU teams I have watched and I have been watching since the 70's. Rose Bowl is a great bowl but if nothing else -- the more things change the more they stay the same.

PSU has always gotten screwed over the years by the media, coaches, etc. PSU must be perfect or this crap will continue to happen. I believe someone mentioned the 1994 team getting screwed. There is precedence for this even before the Sandusky scandal.

PSU is looked at differently. We have "never" gotten respect from the Big Ten since joining even in 94 when we smoked everybody. Today is another example of regional biases and talking heads making arguments on why we should not be top 4. Joey Galloway and Danny Kanell were really the only 2 media guys who made sense.

We might as well be independent like ND because we will never get respect in the Big Ten. It is Michigan's and Ohio State's conference. That's all that really matters.
