spoke to a buddy of mine 2 weeks ago, a Raiders fan in Oakland

he says, who is going to the Super Bowl?

I said, the 2 best teams are KC and NO. They should both win easily at home . . . everyone wants to see this matchup, could be one of the most exciting Super Bowls in years . . .

Then he says, but the NFL wants LA/Boston markets to maximize ad revenue

And I just shrugged and said, it is all corrupt.

missed PI call my butt . . .

so he asks this week, who wins the Super Bowl?

All the money is going on the Pats: LINK

he says, Rams have a brand new stadium to fill

I say, and the NFL has to make up some of that brain injury settlement money

he says, they will never pay that out

I say, and they will still give Roger Goodell another raise

don't you kids get it? the NFL is a corrupt organization. stop getting pissed about the flag!

And the Eagles won last year because Invinceable sales disappointed and the NFL had to make up the shortfall.

If the NFL wants to maximize viewers, wouldn't they have gone with saints and kc?
A lot of people will tune out because they are bored with the Pats. And its not like having LA "fans" involved is bringing in a ton of viewers.

And what does it have to do with betting?

If my friends didn't have a really good Superbowl party every year, I probably would not even turn it on this year.

yeah sorry for trying to being a little levity to this miserable board
