The replay of the first Super Bowl on ESPN last night was disappointing. The best part was when the announcer said, "David Robinson from Penn State.

They hyped the show by telling how they mixed footage from NFL films and a radio broadcast. Then they talked over the audio with inane conversations.

They talked about the size of the players, different balls for each league, face masks, but didn't mention the goalposts in the middle of the end zone until the second half.

I was a freshman living in Beaver Hall and remember watching part of the game on the tv room.

I lived in Beaver Hall (1st floor) in 86/87. What floor were you on?

I was in Beaver fall '65 to Spring '66 on the 3rd floor. We had maid service who once a week gave you one clean sheet and dry mopped the floor.

I think I might have a version that is both coaches footage and broadcast footage with announcers. Let me check what I have (assuming I can find it).

If anyone would have it- it's southern_lion. THE source for all old Penn State (and other) games. ;)
