Enjoy your suspension, starting tomorrow. If I'm him I'm bolting to the NFL ASAP. Before this story gets worse than it already has. And it's going to get worse.

Does not look like that is happening.Enjoy your suspension, starting tomorrow. If I'm him I'm bolting to the NFL ASAP. Before this story gets worse than it already has. And it's going to get worse.
Too bad Penn State did not do this w/ Big10 back in 2011.Does not look like that is happening.
"Disciplinary action could come for Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh following the NCAA's investigation into sign-stealing, but the Big Ten may not be involved with doling out the punishment, The Wall Street Journal reports. According to the WSJ, a person close to the Big Ten has said "the conference will defer to the NCAA, which is conducting its own investigation" in terms of disciplinary action for Harbaugh or the Wolverines.
Per the report, such probes "often take months if not years.”
Michigan president Santa Ono wrote an email to the Big Ten last week, warning the league office that discipline against the Wolverines would violate conference rules. The Michigan Insider's Sam Webb reported over that "unprecedented punishment" from the Big Ten would likely result in legal action from Michigan, which may have been outlined in Ono's email to Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti."
You're still being optimistic. I don't believe for a second the Big Ten does anything but I hope you're right. He should be suspended with pay until the investigation is completed.Enjoy your suspension, starting tomorrow. If I'm him I'm bolting to the NFL ASAP. Obviously the players knew that the coaches were giving them plays based on the opponent's signals. The Michigan first teams on defense and offense should be suspended for the rest of the season. You're still being optimistic. I don't believe Michigan has any legal recourse against the NCAA or B1G. UM didn't break any laws so the court action would have to be civil. UM could try to argue that this is going to cost them a lot of money and the punishment is too big for the crime. But the B1G and NCAA have complete control. It is a club. UM signed up for that club enjoying all of the benefits. They can't have it both ways. A lawsuit may be a delaying tactic. And delaying the inevitable may just cause further damage. I think it is a bluff to get a lighter sentence. Perhaps they suspend some coaches and keep their ability to play for a Natty should they beat us and tOSU.Does not look like that is happening.

Having that opinion is fine and logicalObviously the players knew that the coaches were giving them plays based on the opponent's signals. The Michigan first teams on defense and offense should be suspended for the rest of the season.
Even Pitt fans? lolI think the entire country, and the conference leadership, are pulling for PSU this weekend.

They are. As an obvious OSU fan, I want to see PSU win by 2 TD's over Michigan. The only thing that would be better is Penn State winning by 4 TD's.I think the entire country, and the conference leadership, are pulling for PSU this weekend.
true....but that would just be a delaying tactic. All Michigan has to do is find a judge who is interested in hearing the case vs the Big Ten. Discovery would drag down most of the Big Ten. If the Big Ten wants to take out Harbaugh, it will be quite bloody.
That is why the "indefinite suspension" that was originally going to happen on Monday 11/6/23 has been dialed back.
Unlikely. Discovery will be focused on the details of the UM cheating scandal. They aren't going to get into what other teams may or may not have been cheating. That has no bearing on this case. All Michigan has to do is find a judge who is interested in hearing the case vs the Big Ten. Discovery would drag down most of the Big Ten. Discovery opens up pretty much everything though and the Big Ten doesn't want that. Michigan also doesn't want that but this is all about who plays their hand better. And who's less afraid.Unlikely. Does that mean the Referines are given the day off?I think the entire country, and the conference leadership, are pulling for PSU this weekend.
No way. They have been on duty since at least 1993.Does that mean the Referines are given the day off?
Drag down the entire Big10? Sign me up for that! All Michigan has to do is find a judge who is interested in hearing the case vs the Big Ten. Discovery would drag down most of the Big Ten. If the Big Ten wants to take out Harbaugh, it will be quite bloody.

Hahahaha!!! Is that a threat or a promiseDrag down the entire Big10? Sign me up for that!
My Kingdom for Woody Hayes to be prowling the sidelines for this year’s Game. He would be in fine formThey are. As an obvious OSU fan, I want to see PSU win by 2 TD's over Michigan. The only thing that would be better is Penn State winning by 4 TD's.

We know we're in the Big Ten, right?Drag down the entire Big10? Sign me up for that!

yeah, and if it is federal court, it'll go through the eastern district, which is packed with UM grads...dummyActually, the B1G Conference is a multi-State Conference (Believe the HQ'ers are in Chicago, IOW not even in the State of Michigan). Pretty sure scUM will be required to file in a Federal Court if they are going to go after the Conference in a Civil suit. Not a lawyer, but pretty sure scUM cannot pursue an Out-of-State Non-Profit Entity that operates in multiple States, and which scUM is a Member, in a Michigan State Court.
WELL then, they should be so embarrassed by how their alma mater has deteriorated into cheating scum they will throw out the request and allow he investigation and punishments to stand.yeah, and if it is federal court, it'll go through the eastern district, which is packed with UM grads...dummy
I bet you know that from your part time job washing and waxing their cars over at Big Ed’s Discount Wash-A-Rama.yeah, and if it is federal court, it'll go through the eastern district, which is packed with UM grads...dummy
