Needless to say, Penn State is very well represented. Among other things, Askren talks about Nolf's freakish strength. Evidenty Jason and Ben recently worked out together and Ben said he was "even stronger than I thought he was going to be."

askren was telling others that kemmerer should get together with him this summer to teach him some of that funk. looks like jason did just that.Askren and Nolf rolling = Supernovas exploding
I'd venture a guess that this happened at or around the time of FloNats. Both were in attendance.Needless to say, Penn State is very well represented. ........in a close pick over WreckI liked their Freshman of the Year pick in Cenzo.
Nolf must be unreal strong because he gets stopped on a double and just sucks the hips in and blows through the finish. He is that rare athlete who seems super explosive (fast twitch) and never runs out of gas (slow twitch). I sure love watching him wrestle whatever the reason for his abilities.
They are pretty entertaining. Lots of Mizzou and $OSU homer-isms, but that is to be expected. A very good David Taylor interview a few weeks ago. It is one of the first podcasts that I listen to each week (right after Clay and Garrett's BSD)My first listen of TRow and Funky. I liked it better than I was expecting.
It's good, though Rowlands might be insufferable if the Buckeyes and us switched recent records. Like Desmond Howard insufferable for football. My first listen of TRow and Funky. I liked it better than I was expecting.

Speaking of insufferable Buckeyes, I took a look at CJ Magrum and Pucillo's twitter feeds yesterday for some reason (I think they popped up on replies), and they go beyond being homers, they actually seem like major aholes. Like simple-minded bullies. I'd be shocked if Magrum doesn't have a barbed wire tattoo in his past - he seems the type. Looks like a genius.Hah ....hes definetly a homers homer. but if you know that going in, not a big deal. Plus the two of them bring the opinions which is what I like.

Mark May.Certainly get your point, although I can't imagine a human being more insufferable than Desmond Howard. I suppose if I had an SEC affiliation David Pollack could come close.

Here's a good example as they like to shadow Christian Pyles. They have a serious issue with someone without "accolades" commenting on their beloved sport. At least they haven't challenged CP to a fight yet like some others.
Magrum is a 4 time Academic All Big 10, but he's very Downey-Esque on twitter. What a goon.Haha those two were complete morons after the trials.
Fixed it for you.Haha those two were complete moronsafter the trials.
Funny, I never took time to listen to their show before this. Over on HR their fans made it out that these guys are horrible and not worth my time. I gotta say, I enjoyed it and will certainly make them part of my week.My first listen of TRow and Funky. I liked it better than I was expecting.
like others have said, go back and listen to the DT interview a few episodes back. I think 'soundcloud' has them all.Funny, I never took time to listen to their show before this. I'm doing that right now!l

Askren is hilarious. Would love to see him instruct at a camp as his approach to wrestling and how to "get better" is refreshing. Rowlands also seems to have a good approach for kids - total opposite of angry "wrestling dad"Funny, I never took time to listen to their show before this. Mark May.
Great interview. Interesting take on things from David. When he decides to hang it up and get into coaching he's gonna be in high demand.l

These guys are pretty good. I appreciate they allow the guests to take over the show at times and don't feel the need to dominate everything being said. Thanks to you guys for putting me on to them!!Askren is hilarious. Would love to see him instruct at a camp as his approach to wrestling and how to "get better" is refreshing.
