IND +26 @OSU . . . feels like this game was played in Iowa last year. OSU acted like beating Penn State was a national title game. not so fast. Not sure if the Hoosiers win this one, but I think they will give the Buckeyes one hell of a game

MD +17.5 @ MI . . . I must be missing something here. Underwhelmed by Meat Chicken. looking past that fluke game against Temple for the Terps. Another Big Ten matchup that seems like it will be closer than it looks.

NEB +18 @ WI . . . feels like another trap play. Nebraska is pitiful, but won't they fight like hell not to be 0-5?

SYR -3.5 @ PITT . . . Orange have looked GOOD. real good. is this the point of the season where Pitt goes 2-4, and their fans still blame Penn State?

TX +7 @ OU . . . hot damn, every ESPN writer is picking the Sooners. Put this one on upset alert. Gotta root for the Longhorns!

ND -7 @ VA Tech . . . this might be upset weekend. again, everyone loves ND.

One of the very few times I will root for MD.

I can't believe the SU/Pitt spread. Take SU.

Nebraska can fight all they want but they don't have the players and after listening to Frosts post game PC (you thought Franklin was pissed) some of those guys probably wont even make the trip.

Go Hokies. :)

You heard it hear first - Maryland takes Michigan, book it. Like you said forget that weird Temple mishap, Maryland is talented.

Nebraska looks like the definition of a dumpster fire. At home last week, they tried to hang with Purdue but just couldn't. No depth and not enough talent on the first string (or 2nd string for that matter). Not really sure what kind of coach Frost is either. They could go 0-6. Later in the season, they have games at Ohio State, against MSU, and at Iowa. I think they will be very very lucky to make 4-8.

I look at our loss last week to Ohio State and then look at my wife's pitiful Husker team (she's an alum) and I think, it could be worse...a lot worse.

Syracuse at -3.5 is like stealing. Who exactly is figuring these spreads?

I have done very well picking spreads for Pitt games this year and last year. Hit every spread with them so far this year. Not touching this game. That line makes me want to take Pitt, but I can't make myself do it with how bad Pitt is.

As well as Syracuse has played and as poorly as Pitt has played, it seems to me that Syracuse should beat Pitt by double digits.

As an aside and being selfish, but since we have to play at Indiana in three weeks I'm hoping they lose big to both OSU and Iowa before we get there. I want them beaten up and down, not full of confidence after having played OSU tough and having beaten Iowa. Then they'll think they can beat us and I want to have the easiest 11-1 possible ☺. I don't want us to be their "program turn the corner game" they've been looking for forever. So no upsets of OSU until they get to MSU and then Michigan at year end. I'd even take Purdue. Oh, and no trap games for us like Indiana.

I understand which is why I am not picking what the line tells me to do. As for Syracuse, I don't think they are a good football team but they are better than Pitt. Coming off a physical game against Clemson where they lost late and now going to Pitt is probably why the line is now at -3. So I am staying away. Hope it works out for you.

You might well be right about Syracuse having 2 back to back away games. Look what happened to us last year.

Any PSU fan who finds himself embittered or upset about the state of our team (I'm looking at YOU, chronic malcontents) oughta spend a while looking at the Huskers.

Very little has gone well for them Since T. OSBOURNE retired. They've not been sanctioned, their own BOT never tried to destroy them, yet they haven't had a player or a coach worth spit for almost 20 years.

Gotta be killing the fans.

Close points spread, at tough night road environments. Bye Auburn and Notre Dame.

I am a huge Gator fan too, I could see LSU go down. Only 2 point favorites on road in the swamp.
