Which one picked his nose in public? So many Lion eyes are focused on Iowa wrestlers in a negative way. As soon as one loses a match or picks his nose in public.. BOOM to BWI to start a thread to trash Iowa and their recruits. Wash, Rinse, Repeat

When did Iowa hire Harbaugh?Which one picked his nose in public?
I know, there's some comfort in thinking you have the top wrestling board or the top results at one weight weight class if you can't be the best wrestling team anymore (or program - oh, those Bucknuts!), right?!?!I love the HR obsession
That's not true. I thought Gross had a great tournament yesterday. So many Lion eyes are focused on Iowa wrestlers in a negative way. As soon as one loses a match or picks his nose in public.. BOOM to BWI to start a thread to trash Iowa and their recruits. Wash, Rinse, Repeat
See what I mean when I say it goes both ways? Did you see someone start a thread on HR when Teske lost to his own teammate?

Don’t forget that our coaching staff wanted him. I think it’s high time for us to let it go.
silly-silly WTSee what I mean when I say it goes both ways? Did you see someone start a thread on HR when Teske lost to his own teammate?
I find it funny that the same people that cry to their mod every time something negative is said over on HR now feels the need to try and dictate what is said here.So many Lion eyes are focused on Iowa wrestlers in a negative way. It’s going to be eye opening when you aren’t facing some overmatched 15 year old from Oil City who doesn’t have access to Young Guns practices.
He is going to be ridden like a donkey this year. He’s never had to be good on bottom
We can't say "ridden like a bronco," right?Ridden like a Donkey ?
Or ridden like a Pony ?
Kiddie parks have “pony rides” because ponies don’t mind having little kids ride them allllllllllllllll day long.
Tsk. Tsk. WildTurk should have followed the adage of “don’t go to a gunfight brandishing a frozen fish as a sword.”silly-silly WT
But just in case there is someone new to this, I'll point out a few obvious points of why it would get discussion here.
- Teaz went to school at PSU a year ago
- Teaz is from PA and an all time PA great champ
- tHR speculation of him instantly walking in and being an AA and beating Desanto in the room
- he very well could wrestle against PSU and factor into our W and our W streak
- he very well could factor into the NC race
- he LOST TO A D3 kid

Sasso getting pinned was huge for VTSasso pinned. Now Mcfadden gets beat. Its a good match..
12-7 VT at the break.
The class ass clown always gets attention. I am happy you appear to be more comfortable in an environment that makes fun of the ass clown as opposed to the ass clown's endless obsession with Carl and his endless cheating.I love the HR obsession
I've been high on Rumph for a while, and was disappointed that he didn't end up at a D1 school. He was clearly good enough to wrestle at instate Big Ten programs IU and Purdue. When you consider how late he started wrestling, his results were amazing. He was definitely a high level guy coming out of high school. He wrestled Cole Matthews at an all star dual and lost on a takedown with 1 second left, to give you a sense of where he was.Just a little background on Kris Rumph of Wartburg. Rumph is an Indiana kid who started wrestling late (Earliest results I can find are 2015). He's very athletic and was considered very raw coming out of HS. How he signed with Wartburg, I am not sure. But I do know this....
- He won the DIII Regional last year at 149. DNP at Nationals
- He dropped two weight classes and he is ranked #4 now at 133 in DIII
- He was a 3x Placer in the single class IN State Tournament, finishing 1st, 2nd and 4th.
- In 2018, he beat Matt Lee twice, the 2nd time a dominating 20-8 major in the State Quarterfinal at 138 lbs.
- Wartburg is ranked #3 in DIII
- He's a true sophomore. I think he has a very high ceiling.
None of this is to excuse a loss from Teasdale, who is supposed to be the starter for DI Iowa. A starter at Iowa SHOULD beat a DIII wrestler even if he's a NC. But I thought it would at least give some perspective on the guy that beat him, knowing he's not a scrub.
One could not go to HR for months, and still know what the biggest threads were. Cael did something, Iowa has 10AAs and 150 points and my personal 2 favorites, someone is staaallling and just you wait until next year.I don't know which obsession is worse, HRs with Cael cheating or BWI's with what happens on HR, and I know it's not everyone just a few posters

Here are the closing moments of the match. Note that Teasdale had 0:30 RT at the start of the clip.I've been high on Rumph for a while, and was disappointed that he didn't end up at a D1 school. With that being said, still a bad loss for Teasdale. Sounds like he gave up a scramble takedown and rideout to put him in a hole.
Lot's of Iowa posters over here extolling the virtues of Rumph. Maybe Tom and Terry should try to get him to enter the portal. I mean Gavin's been in the Iowa room or practicing at the HWC for what - 6 months now? This kid's been at Wartburg for the last two years.I've been high on Rumph for a while, and was disappointed that he didn't end up at a D1 school. We have a ton of D3 programs in PA and some very good ones. We have a good idea of the level a top D3 guy is at. (Hint: Teasdale should be dominating him at this point if he's beating DeSanto in the room, or even at least an AA candidate. It shouldn't be close.)
In Iowa anyhow.Does this make Wartburg best lightweight room in the country?
Considering Glynn is among the best defensive wrestlers in the country, Wade's performance was amazing today!

Mono and other mysterious illnesses can last a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.3 TDs in first period.
And in other news -- Spencer fatigued early again and was looking pretty rough in the 3rd (after scoring 12 in the 1st). I suspect it's going to be another long season of drama around his conditioning. At least he'll be out there only periodically, which should reduce the frequency of bellyaching and armchair diagnoses (I hope).
