Temple smokes Navy. Is this the end for Matt Ruhle?

This thread shows up to me as being started by the OP RTLH. Unless you are also RTLH (double handles/accounts). So I wasn't making fun of your spelling, but was just kidding RTLH.... I realized what he was saying, just kidding. No big deal, I hope.

I was also finding humor in the computer glitch

By that I mean some bigget program may snatch him up.
After his team's bowl game.

I don't believe that Matt would accept an offer from a bigget program.

Dont know but if any school offers Rhule $3M per year, it would be hard for him to turn it down. And basically any P5 school can do that nowadays. ND could (and has done) alot worse. But its possible being a PSU alum may turn ND off.

Why would being a PSU alum turn off ND? I have heard that that was an issue with Bradley and Pitt, but ND doesn't consider us a rival. I'm not saying that Rhule would be on the short list for ND, but I can't imagine ND caring at all about where he went to college or even whether he went to college. I guess lying on your resume about college experience would be frowned upon (George O'Leary), but the next coach must only possess the ability to win games and keep ND relevant.

What about Purdue?
Career suicide. If he thinks he can maintain this level at Temple, he should wait for a job where he actually has a chance to win. The 2 Arizona schools might be opening up in the next year or so, and neither is as hopeless as Purdue. Both Carolinas, would be good landing spots if they opened up. I wouldn't touch Rutgers, but Maryland might interest him, although that division is such a beast. Purdue is just at such a disadvantage in the B1G, I can't see anyone with good options going there.
