For me, in the “reasons to root for” category, surviving unprovoked, near-death, likely-to-be-career-ending violence trumps his disdain for PSU. And I expect tough, high-end rivals not to care for us. That said, I’ll hope for and enjoy any Bear/Sammy matchup in March because I can gladly celebrate either winner for different redemptive reasons. That celebration and rooting interest ends when they meet MM.

Barraclough has been lights out since the loss to Thomsen in the first round. Didn't wrestle a particularly good match against Thomsen.

My wife and I were watching a movie titled Druid Peak. Parts of the movie were filmed in Heber City, Utah and the main character looks very much like Bearclaw.
My ancestors homesteaded in Heber City. At the time it was known as Fort Heber. Great great grandfather left to homestead where I now live.

The 157 lb UVU freshman starter is from about 4 miles from me. I've been following TB since HS in UT.
The dual is posted on YouTube and the announcer said he was injured and wouldn’t wrestle. He didn’t say how bad of an injury so prayers that he just sat out as a precautionary measure.
