The other day my son and I are working on something and we needed a calculator. I'm trying to work it out in my head (28 years of teaching middle school math) and he grabs his phone.

Then he laughs and says, "remember when you would tell us we need to know the process to work out the problem? You're not going to have a calculator that you can just pull out of your pocket and solve the problem."

He did this while holding up his phone showing his calculator.

Shoot. My son and his buddies can find answers on Google very quickly. Usually while I am punching my phone with my index finger just to open up the APP, they are giving me the answer.
SMART boards in the classroom would have taken me quite some time to master.
