Yep, I met O.J. Years later and he talked to me about it. He still enjoyed rehashing it close to 20 years later .
Man they went from nothing to world beaters in one play .
He also caught a critical pass on that drive to set up the TD.
That was back when reporters like Jim Lampley kept talking how Penn St had no chance because of the ‘SEC speed’. This was back when they mentioned SEC speed as much as they say “physicality” now.

The 1991 season was the first year that I had season tickets at Beaver Stadium, so I remember that season and bowl game well.
