It's just awful. The guy is a serial child rapist and he gets defended by a select few on here like he is a saint. It literally makes me sick to my stomach.
I'll worry about hating Jerry when I believe he received a fair trial.
Why do the victims' words count for every instance but the McQueary one?
I realize this is far too complicated for your simple little mind, but there is absolutely nothing inconsistent with hating what Sandusky did and hating the way McQueary, OAG, Freeh and NCAA, etc handled the victim 2 scenario. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

No, it's about PSU and they all lied just to get money. It's one big conspiracy to these guys. This hurt Joe's reputation and the school....screw the victims. That is what you have here. They are bunkered in with it and play a fair trial card as to not come off even more fanatical than they are. No eyetwitness...well just the actual victims. Even more will testify if Jerry does get his new "fair" trial and a few will never believe the tickle monster hurt any children.

Unbelievable. I'm sure that all 30+ of the accusers could have testified against Jerry but you wouldn't believe them. Amazing that you believe a convicted felon more than his accusers.
Because they actually took the stand in his trial and stated what Jerry did to them. That was easy enough.
There will always be an excuse... there will always be a way to explain how this is all just a big plot to screw Sandusky and Penn State. How it's everyone else's fault except for Jerry's.

Yep....Jerry took down a ton of good people. It doesn't mean I need to feel sorry for Jerry...I don't. He molested kids and screwed over a ton of people who just happen to work with him or be affiliated with him. It is BS, but it doesn't make Jerry a victim. I know you don't feel that way so don't take it that way.

I never once said I don't feel that way. And certainly I never said Jerry was a victim. Not sure why you are struggling to separate two issues.
Actually I'm not struggling with anything and that is why I'm not hung up on MM like you are.
When this thing started, everybody pissed about what happened to Joe and the school's reputation threw Jerry under the bus without ever giving him the presumption of innocence he deserved. The minute Joe was fired, Jerry's chance at a fair trial went right out the window.
Sandusky's was a show trial. Jerry was convicted in the court of public opinion. The OAG used Penn State and JVP to see to it. Their case was weak. So they used a quantity over quality approach. They manipulated the victims to say what they needed them to say. This isn't speculation. They were caught on tape doing it. They withheld their knowledge of who V2 was from the jury. I believe they manipulated Mike to say what they wanted him to say.
I'm no expert on every case, but over the years I have learned enough to believe the V2 case should have never seen the light of day. The janitor case should have been thrown out. And the V6 case was BS too! That's about 14 of the 45 counts right off the bat. I happen to believe Aaron Fisher and his mother are frauds. As is Matt Sandusky.
For me, the bottom line is that I no longer believe that Jerry Sandusky had sexual contact with any of those kids.
For you its all about Jerry is rotting in jail for the rest of his life and I totally get that. You are outraged by pedophilia. So am I. So are most posters here as far as I can tell. This situation is much more complicated than that as it pertains to PSU involvement. So yeah you are struggling to grasp that if you aren't "hung up" on MM.
V2 never testified...the others did. They are the ones the jury listened to. V2 is about PSU to you and the rest don't matter because this is only about Joe and PSU to you.

It started that way because I, like everyone else, believed Jerry was guilty. I trusted the system to get it right. I've had plenty of reason to question my assumptions since then.
You believe the ones who got paid millions of dollars, but not the one who gave his statement free of charge. Why is that?
I'd feel a lot better about believing them if:
- They had come forward BEFORE it was apparent that big money was to be had for their story
- Any of them actually had a contemporaneous account of their "abuse". I guess none of these guys told anyone anything, ever.
- There weren't slimy lawyers (Shubin) doing everything they could to find victims in this case to line their pockets
- There wasn't a tape of investigators conspiring to lie to one of the "victims" to get him to fess up to abuse
- Their accounts of abuse didn't directly contradict earlier accounts they had given to investigators
- There was a shred of physical evidence in the case
LOL, keep trying indy. You are the cult they talked about. The money is irrelevant. Jerry couldn't refute any of them. He had access to all of them. He was told to stop showering with kids and couldn't. These weren't toddlers testifying, but adults. The only thing you care about is PSU and Joe's reputation. That is your main concern.
Joe's reputation and that of PSU are separate from whether or not Sandusky is guilty.
But since you point out that Jerry had access to all of them, maybe you'd like to revisit where that access originated? Can you say TSM?
You bring up that Jerry "couldn't" stop showering with kids. What does that mean? He took two kids that we know of....kids with whom he maintained a seemingly healthy father/son like relationship into adulthood....and worked out with them. They showered afterwards. Big whoop! Neither of those boys ever characterized those instances as having been sexual. I maintain that Jerry was advised against showering with TSM kids for his protection, not because there was concern for the welfare of those boys.
If the v1 and v2 accusations don't hold water, the case against Sandusky collapses.
That's different than disagreeing with my point, but OK. MM is very relevant to the PSU and PSU Football involvement in this saga. That isn't even debatable.
If you don't care about that aspect and what really happened there then by all means don't care. I have no problem with that. But, I and quite a few other pedophile haters are still interested in that aspect o the case. That doesn't make me a pedophile defender or a free Jerry bot. There is no Freeh Report, Consent Decree, etc. in my opinion without victim 2 and MM.
My point is that the guy is guilty. A new trial will not change things and will only put the story on the national news AGAIN.

Victims of child abuse rarely tell anyone. For them to keep it a secret that long is not unusual at all. Nor it is unusual that there is no physical evidence (how the hell would there be years after the abuse occurred). You could literally look at a majority of child molestation cases where the victims come forward as adults and have virtually the same list of reasons that you provided above. It doesn't make the victims liars. In fact, the sheer number of victims in this case make their testimonies stand out even more.
Jerry is guilty, you need to accept that.

This ^^^^^^. The OAG themselves said that MM was the "lynchpin" for their case. I'm sure they were estatic when they figured out they could use MM's b.s. Statement to provide cover for the OAG's own failures to montior TSM.
I dont know how this is even debatable. V2 and MM was the only way for the OAG to tie JS to psu football/admins. V6 and V8 wouldn't work.
