Not a huge Pens fan however I hate all things New York... either way this is just outstanding to watch.

Agree completely and, unfortunately, I think we've got some lean years ahead. Oh well, the Bucs are up 3-0 in the 3rd!Oh man. Always tough when the season is over. The team was ruined by injuries, but I gotta say the guys we brought in, I hope we've seen the last of some of them. I'm dubious of management - Rutherford needs to spend more time on the roster, and less time telling Rob Rossi to go sell ice cream. That was embarrassing and unprofessional. Rossi might be somewhat of an insect, but then - who the hell is Jim Rutherford? His predecessor was terrible at drafting forwards/centers and has the team in cap hell. Mike Johnston doesn't remind me of Scotty Bowman, but with this roster, who can tell? Lots of work needs done between now and October.
Not so fast my friend . . . with Sid, Geno and MAF in their prime (and assuming Letang comes back from the concussion) having weapons like that, you're always a threat. However, even with great top tier players, might not be enough good parts around them. Pens definitely have SOME excellent secondary players, but not enough. And the emergency replacements - to put it kindly - stink. That's where Rutherford needs to get it done.Agree completely and, unfortunately, I think we've got some lean years ahead. I don't have a solid hockey background but it does seem to me like Rutherford is a problem. Still, maybe with a healthy team next year, I am being overly pessimistic. I don't take overtime losses well. Not so fast my friend . . . with Sid, Geno and MAF in their prime (and assuming Letang comes back from the concussion) having weapons like that, you're always a threat.
