Given the circumstances, I think Coach Brands handled this interview very well. Much respect.
Even I, as a master of Schadenfreude, came very close to feeling sorry for what is clearly a broken, defeated man, who has little to no hope of competing with the greatness of Cael and the Penn State program. Close, but no cigar!

I don't see what that changes honestly. Guess a little more humility and decency? Still just names an a board. I don't see it slowing many of those clowns down at all.
Trust me the Iowa guys I play golf with down here didn't sleep last night. Can't tell you how much hate they have for "Carl". I've heard slush fund a thousand times. A guy who wrestled for Iowa in their glory days is treated like a former president. Brands comment about five champs makes me jealous says it all.
Twitter even worse. Every Penn State wrestler plays the edge and never shoots (don’t let them know comparative TD numbers - it might blow their minds).
One of the funniest posts I saw over the past few days was someone telling (I think) Turk to get off HR and stay over here after (I think it was) Turk made a reasonable post.
That is probably less than 1% of their fan base that act like asshats. They are there to spew negatively because they are unknown and unhappy want-a-bees.
Turk is our Austin DeSanto. He flies off the handle at times, bleeds Iowa gold, but in the end still knows he's owned by PSU.
There are several "you're not a real Hawk fan" posts if someone didn't profess their blind loyalty.
