Why? It isn't like they were close and just missed. They were their normal 3rd place or worse, and had no champions. Without Spencer they had to know they weren't getting any champions. During the Cael era (32 champs) TnT have what 9? Spencer X 3 and McDonough X 2 have 5 of them. Metcalf has two but only one in the Cael PSU era. You have to be damn good to overcome what Iowa offers versus what PSU offers.
Well I lived in Iowa in the mid to late 80s so I grew to like the people and the state. I also try to have a good relationship with people on their board so I can talk a little wrestling .

What I’m worried about? I went on HR, and as I read through delicious posts of Hawks calling each other out, I found one I liked so much, I hit that like button. I then looked up, and the only other person to like the post was… Vodka. I was confused, concerned, saddened. I re-read the previous 20 posts, just to make sure I had the correct context. It was. Now, i cover my face and wonder wtf will become of me.

Im sorry, but I’m with the OP on this one. When national media plays video of the booing the injured players, and it’s as loud as it was on TV sets across the country, it’s not 1%.
I was at Kinnick. It WAS loud and it was at least 80% of the crowd. It was confusing at first then it was infuriating.
I am really concerned that perceptions of PSU's eventual 2022-23 NCAA dominance won't cause ticket prices plummet earlier and lower than what remained available for Detroit.
I'm not sure. Whatever opinion you have of her, it's clear that Barber has been a HUGE fan of PSU wrestling. In regards to her impact on the program, I think that she and Cael have been aligned in how he operates.
I think there are likely other actors at PSU that were involved in anything that displeased Cael. JMO.
