This World Series is insane

Its pretty clear MLB juiced the ball. The announcers were saying that there have been claims that the stitching is tighter and players are saying the ball is slippery. Nobody on any team is able to throw a slider. Announcers were saying this WS had more homers than anyone in history, and that was after 4.5 games.

Watching the playoffs between the Indians and Yankees, I was amazed at how Kluber got knocked around. Kluber, like Madox, is a slider fastball guy who lives on the outside corner of the plate. The batter never knows if it is going to be a slider that goes 6 inches outside, or a fastball that clips the outside corner. So the batter swings at anything out the outside edge of the plate. Kluber averaged over 10 strikeouts per game, a record in modern ball. But in the playoffs, any slider pitcher is doomed. The only ones being remotely successful are changeup, fastball guys.

Crazy game that such a small difference is so huge.

Who cares about the juiced balls? This series is awesome..

Replay on the MLB Network right now. Looks like they doing an edited version of the 5+ hour classic.

Amazing how the game can be shortened when the time between pitches is reduced. MLB could benefit from having both the batter and pitcher on a time clock with each only allowed to call time out once per at bat. :)

I must say that was a poor editing job. Part of the drama is seeing the players react from both sides and the crowd after each huge play. They abruptly cut a lot out. On the final play the segment ended 2 seconds after the winning run scored. Lame
