Willy Mays blasting cap classic!

"Do not "taste" them call a local Policeman. He says it like 4 times. Who "tastes" a " blesting" cap?

LMAO!

Were blasting caps some sort of big issue in the past? I remember hearing about them when I was younger, but never saw one.

Everyone sought them out, that and sticks of dynamite that were cut up according to intensity. Was my first education with EOD, and learning not to smack powder between two belgian blocks.

I had an uncle who lost a couple of fingers playing with them on the farm as a kid. Not exactly sure about the size of the charge he detonated.

10 bad local commercials..check out #10..."Credit MacDaddy" ...LOL!

Credit MacDaddy? Someone trolling a board legend? We had to stick up for him one other time when Captain Sidney O'Reilly was stalking him.

Job Fair is the worst for me. That is so bad that it's just bad, not good. Eagle Man is so bad it's almost good. My favorite is Cullman Liquidation. "A bouncer in Birmingham hit me in the face with a crescent wrench five times and my wife's boyfriend broke my jaw with a fence post. So if you don't buy a trailer from me, it ain't gonna hurt my feelings." Great stuff!

Crapstain was stalking Mack? I know shitforbrains "disguised" himself as "MackDaddy" I believe on PSP and was posting his usual hate.

How much weed did the Norton Furniture dude fire up before that commercial?

No video, but "You'll save at Sa-a-am's in Philipsburg PA, Ole!"

40+ years later the "make deal with Senior Sam" jingle is still stuck in my head. I'd say that was effective advertising.

Kinda of like "B-U-B-B-A have you Bubbaed today?" for students at PSU in the 80s. The old Lions Pride jingle is another one I can't shake. And then there's:
