Three deep defensive rotation in first half? How come?

I am of two minds on the subject. One is that with so much inexperience, the only way to see who is ready to play is to play them against the best the presumably less deep Non conf opponents have to offer.

The other more cynical part of my mind suggests the transfer portal makes it imperative to keep everyone happy.

All I know is that I was going nuts the last two weeks trying to keep up with who was in the game and agonizing over why there were certain combos in at what time. And don’t say it was because the ones and twos were gassed. The did the same thing in week one.

I really hope that they settle on who earned the right to play in a regular rotation going forward starting this week so that some continuity can develop before the meat of the schedule.
