...a guaranteed national championship or two under a coach who stays short-term (think 2-4 years) OR a long term coach (10 years or more) who has steady, solid success (8-4, 9-3, 10-2, maybe one or two 11-1 seasons), but never wins a championship and losses one too many major bowl games (but provides plenty of memorable regular season wins during his time)? I would be keen to hear almost everyone's reasoning please...explain away....
