Kentucky is a tough SEC team who is well coached. I don't think we planned well enough ourselves to shock Kentucky in any way early on, but they sure found ways to shock us. Trace was hurt and not 100% accurate with some passes, but our receivers weren't making the catches and adjustments they should have as well. I honestly didn't know that KJ Hamler was even in the game in the first half as we did nothing to get him the ball in open space. Having said all this, if not for breakdowns on special teams play in the first half, we should have been up 13-3 at halftime. If so, this would have been a much different game.
