That's probably the last time he dons a steeler uniform, and thank goodness. The fumble was bad (and lost them the game) but he was god awful the whole game. I guess that's what a 3rd string RB looks like.

I doubt he is done as a Steeler, he is what, their 4th rb? He did ok IMO.. The fumble was rough, but the D folded after that also.

I agree he won't be back, and maybe I shouldn't feel badly for a a pro athlete, but I do. I cannot imagine sitting there, after the fumble, seeing all your dreams crashing down around you. Today, as in every loss, there is plenty of blame to go around, but he will be considered the goat.

I agree the fumble was the turning point in the game as the Steelers probably would have won if it hadn't happened. however, I think Touissant probably showed enough last week to enhance his chances for a roster spot in 2016.

Yep.
It's a shame, and I feel bad for him. He got a great chance to contribute and he did the last 2 weeks. Hate to see any young man give it his all when he gets a chance and make one mistake that may ruin his dreams.....Hope he comes back next year and wins a roster spot.

But as you said, there was plenty of blame to go round. I thought the D had them stopped on that 3rd and goal short yardage. Timmons just plugged the wrong hole too early or he would have stopped the RB cold. OL came up short in protecting Ben as well.

I give the Bronco's credit for their DL playing well and their DB's making some plays that maybe if Brown is playing they don't make. But the Steeler's played a very good game and have nothing to be ashamed of.

...the Steelers had plenty of time to win the game after the fumble ... all they needed to do was play defense ...
...the bigger goof occurred on the drive when Manning fell down and everyone stopped pursuing him - he got up and completed a long pass to keep the drive alive ...
... it just happens ...

Steelers played well enough to win. They were in such a good offensive rythym when Toussant fumble. I could not understand why he just didn't run into the ginormous hole In front of him. Instead he hesitated and thought he was Le'veon Bell waiting for a block. Made no sense. He had an easy 5-7 yard without being touched

I was expecting him to do the same disgusting dance he did after his TD. He is a meatchicken guy ALL the way. Not a Michigan, Steeler or Bronco fan, but happy to see a show boat run aground.

It won't be talked about enough, but Emanuel Sanders reaching his hand in front of Gay (I think) to break up a sure interception around mid-field on the game winning drive was a humongous play.
With William Gay or any of the Steeler DB's there is no such thing as a sure INT. They dropped at least one other one as well.

That fumble was rough, but they had many chances to put more points on the board than they did. And nothing says they weren't allowed to make a stop after it. But that is life in the NFL. In the playoffs, whoever makes the least mistakes wins.

He might be back. He did OK for a number three back.

Special team play was a contributing factor to the Steeler lose as well.
