My buddy’s nephew is in the finals at 10U 67lbs. Kid is an absolute stud

he actually should be in the 64lb bracket but he told his dad he wanted to go 67 to face a kid who has beaten him twice.

he gets him in the finals today

Asher got a fall in his quarter, but gave up one in his semi. Won his consi semi and will wrestle for 3rd.
yea, his first loss was in a scramble and they called a pin against him... He looked surprised by the call.

Does anybody really think it is a good idea for adults on a college wrestling forum to be engaged in discussing the attributes of elementary school wrestlers? One poster called a U10 67 pound
wrestler "...an absolute stud." Amazing! It would be a good idea if the Board held off until these youngsters become teen agers in high school and college. This is worse than Little League baseball.

We are at the tournament, I didn't catch the 3rd place match but the loss to the kid from Virginia is about as good a loss as you can take. I believe he is a S32 champ.

We had a good weekend, I brought three wrestlers and all three will place, 2 wrestling for 3rd and my boy is in the finals. Its gonna be a tough one, he's lost to this kid a bunch and its not usually overly close lol. Should be interesting and will leave something to improve on. Who knows, he's got a throwers chance.

Making the podium at Tulsa is a major accomplishment. Kudos to the boys.

Definitely a proud pop. We ended up with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Lost to a MS big board kid. The two other wrestlers I brought had never been outside the state wrestling before. The both had tough brackets and both outperformed their own expectations. Great weekend of wrestling, now for some Tylenol and a glass of bourbon. I still have moms screams ringing in my ears.

You didn't go to the wrestling?

Just an fyi..

Gary Steen's dad (some call him baggage..Ted) had about 20 kids in Tulsa with Bad Karma club and BK had a bunch of medalist and 2 champs. One little guy took out Cody Chittum's little brother in a scrap in finals. He was helping coach some of his M2 buddies also Including one who lost his 1st match and then wrestled all the way back to take 3rd!
