OU-Texas has been noon for what seems like a very long time. I get the frustration but with the amount of money the networks pay its tough to complain. Start drinking at 9 and then hope there's other good games at 330 and 730/8.I hate this noon stuff, previously the big games were always later in the day. Except maybe OSU/Michigan, but that only was mildly interesting to me.
That is all.
I also do not prefer noon games as it diminishes both the tailgating experience (although I am going to the Michigan game next month) and the hosting experience for friends and family at home. I prefer the 3:30 and 7:30 time slots for big games.I hate this noon stuff, previously the big games were always later in the day. I just can’t do the drinking thing early in the morning. Maybe I could in my early 20s, but at 46 I just can’t do it anymore. Actually prefer to get up, work out, eat breakfast, run errands and get stuff done, and then relax for the rest of the game day and enjoy a few beers in the afternoon or evening during the games.OU-Texas has been noon for what seems like a very long time. How many pounds do you bench press?I just can’t do the drinking thing early in the morning. Maybe I could in my early 20s, but at 46 I just can’t do it anymore. For the early games I usually have two tailgates, one before the game and one after the game. No need to sit in a traffic jam, and few hours later there won't be much if any traffic. Of course this is much better if you're staying in town.I also do not prefer noon games as it diminishes both the tailgating experience (although I am going to the Michigan game next month) and the hosting experience for friends and family at home.
