Tom did not ask me to start this thread, but I need to start it early since my wife and I are heading out for scones and lattes soon.

The lots are sparse today. Looks like we’ll have a light crowd for this one.

Bye Week is lacking on defense. Can we run the ball? Can Roberson make accurate throws? He should have plenty of time in the pocket.

Hopefully we get an ASS. BEATING. o_O today. Get the starters out early, rest up and heal from the fake injuries, and get ready for Illinois.

I'm not sure that we can score this week.

Looks to be a silver-out

We need to take Bye seriously….after all, they would be favored to win the ACC Coastal and would compete in the Big West.

Already in a lightning delay here with more expected. You know CJF still hasn’t figured out how to get the team through a weather delay. Bye will figure it out of course and we’ll lose.

Michigan State at Indiana – 11:00AM – FOX Sports 1

Rutgers at Northwestern – 11:00AM – Big Ten Network
Purdue at Iowa – 2:30PM – ABC
Army at Wisconsin – 7:00PM – Big Ten Network
Open Date: Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State

Bye Week wins the toss and elects to receive. Smart to test our defense early. Penn State will defend the south end zone, thereby forcing Bye Week to drive away from the student section in the 2nd and 4th quarters. More sound strategy.

Stout squibs the kickoff eight yards. With a good return, Bye Week starts 1st and goal at the Penn State 8 yard line.

It's probably going to be a depressing day of college football. I'm pulling for Indy to beat MSU and for Purdue to beat Iowa. I expect to be disappointed.

Not a single yard so far today
In other news: Franklin & Yurcich visit Drew Allar’s high skool last night. Apparently the student body was all jazzed-up about the visit and JF took a selfie with the student section

And Allar had 311 yards passing and five TD’s and came out with 11:43 left in the 2nd quarter and a 49-0 lead….holy sh!t! Final score…70-7.

End of the 1st quarter. Bye Week 29, Penn State 0. Bye Week ends the quarter with a TD and two-point conversion and then recovers the onside kick.
