Here's the latest on my father here at Hershey Medical Center. They just removed the balloon pump that was helping his heart beat and he is doing well without it. This is very good news.
Also, they concluded the viability study to see if heart tissue had died. If it had, a bypass would not be possible. Turns out the images were good and they will very likely do bypass surgery. This is the result everyone's been hoping and praying for. Not exactly sure when the surgery will take place, not likely today, but I'm guessing soon. I'll let you know, but this is all very good news.
