While the top 9 teams are pretty much in place the rest of this a very flawed starting with ND at 10. Auburn ahead of team they lost to at home. Kansas ahead of team they lost to. Many others make this worthless

It's a projection...could be wrong or right but it's not the same as a poll. Beating a team doesn't mean you're better than them. We've seen that a lot over the years. We've lost to many teams we were better than. College football is the only sport where fans thought being undefeated was necessary. That's going to change drastically with the playoff. Sometimes losses, especially to great teams, help you as the season goes on. Penn State was a prime example of that losing to Michigan and Pitt causing us to miss the playoff. Clemson, for example, will be better this year for playing Georgia.
