A reserve role for a Penn State freshman quarterback who performs well above expectation? Sound familiar?

There are no comparisons between McSorley and CV. If there was a comparison, it is McSorley to Roberson against Iowa. That is the comparison because that is what he looked like in relief of Hack until Georgia went to prevent (a tad too early) with the game well in hand.

Penn State scored a touchdown to pull within 7 with 6:14 to play. Again, I can’t tell you what to believe but the reality is different from what you’re claiming.

Your reality is not reality. The game was never in doubt after Hack went out. Regardless of what you think.

I remember McSorely making some impressive throws in that game, regardless of the outcome of the game or it ever being in doubt. He seemed a bit antsy at times but played well enough as a RS Freshman to spark optimism for the following season.

Was good to see CV play well yesterday. All around better than most of us, including myself, would have guessed.

Ok... But Veillleux acted...moved and looks nothing like McSorley... what silly stretch.

Dude, you just make yourself look more foolish every day. 🤡

He looked surprisingly comfortable in the pocket. Didn’t hold on to the ball to long, kept his eye downfield, got some nice runs, and didn’t make risky throws. Wondering if he’s gonna start next year. Think he’s a bit of an unknown quantity. Canadian football player who hasn’t played a game since 2019. Seems to have all the makings of a good college football player. I’d kind of like to see him start against Mich St. Is his upside higher than Clifford?

What’s amazing is that he is a true freshman and last year his high school cancelled all games due to the Wuhan virus. So he couldn’t even practice properly! Think he enrolled Inman so he had some time to work at PSU but as a third team QB just how many practice snaps did he get? Most of his time was probably playing scout QB.
