I remember McSorely making some impressive throws in that game, regardless of the outcome of the game or it ever being in doubt. He seemed a bit antsy at times but played well enough as a RS Freshman to spark optimism for the following season.

Was good to see CV play well yesterday. All around better than most of us, including myself, would have guessed.

As impressed as I was, I would not yet compare arm strength until we see more evidence, particularly deep balls.

Wondering if he’s gonna start next year. Think he’s a bit of an unknown quantity. Canadian football player who hasn’t played a game since 2019. Seems to have all the makings of a good college football player. I’d kind of like to see him start against Mich St. Is his upside higher than Clifford?

What’s amazing is that he is a true freshman and last year his high school cancelled all games due to the Wuhan virus. So he couldn’t even practice properly! Think he enrolled Inman so he had some time to work at PSU but as a third team QB just how many practice snaps did he get? Most of his time was probably playing scout QB.
