Last year's team victory was so great because of the five-in-a-row, especially VJ's win over IMar and Nickal over Dean. But the team title was wrapped up in advance of the finals, and that removed a lot of the vicarious drama.

But this year was about overcoming obstacles (Nolf's knee; losing our 125 guy; Keener barely getting to NCAAs; the crazy intra-team competition at 197; Joseph's loss to IMar at BIGs, etc.), and, most significantly, the favored and talented-packed team in Ohio State. It was a great come-back win that relied on the momentum and grit of guys like Nick Lee, Rasheed, and Nevills earlier on the last day.

It's sweeter when it's tougher and more challenging.

Amen.

Also... victory sweeter after last summer, losing Suriano combined with Tan Tom grabbing McKenna & Campbell to take a run at the title removed us from being a run-away favorite

how sweet this turned-out :)

Maybe so; but my heart prefers domination and the team championship the day before the finals.:)
