Washington...

It happens every year of Franklin but one…but even that team lost to Pitt, was hammered by Michigan and choked against U$C…Frsnklin loses all games to equal or superior talent…but the o$U games were at least reasonably close.

Penn State can not stretch the field…this will not change until recruiting heats better. It will not improve this year. It likely will get better until they get a fresh approach in coaching staff,
Get a good night’s sleep. Things will look better in the morning.

Exactly. My other favorite hot take on this board now is even at 11-1 we won’t make the playoffs. One of the biggest talking points last year for the playoffs committee was quality loses. If our only loss is to OSU there’s no chance we are left out. I don’t know how I went from upset about them losing to having to defend them from the crazies in a span of 4 hours.
Understood and point taken. We should win the rest of the games. However Franklin has proved nothing in terms of showing he is capable of winning these tight games against OSU or other elite teams. And just making the playoffs is not enough. We need to

Understood and we should make the playoff. I fully expect to make the playoff. The issue I have is we have a head coach who simply cannot get it done versus OSU or other elite teams. Ever. Well, one time. Yay. He simply folds in winning time and so do his teams.

We need to do better than just make the playoff. That is not moving the program forward since the # of teams invited have tripled. If we win a playoff game then great some progress in winning a big game with the NC still in play, but if not, same old same old disappointment. Our best win is versus Illinois who I think has 3 losses and unranked. We have no signature wins. I was thinking USC but they are now 4-5 so counting that as a big win is a huge reach.

How about letting the games play out before complaining?

Did you fall off the wagon? Is that why you're suddenly going crazy with this Minny and Wash stuff?

You were a fairly normal poster ... actually trying to talk sense into people ... and now you're a raving lunatic running around screaming that we're going to lose.

Troll-boy was a normal "our fan" poster, if you call that normal (or remotely believe he's a PSU fan. LMAO

I’ll copy and paste this since you are no where to be found. Come eat that crow you so spectacularly earned. 0-1 on your doomsday scenario predictions.
His type of “fan” never eat crow, they just move on to the next game they say we will lose.

Did you see the taunting penalty after a third down stop that led to a touchdown? Did you see the four plays run after Warren set them up with 1st and goal from the 2? Did you see Will Howard throw a pick 6, fumble on the goal line and get sacked? OSU didn’t dominate shit. I don’t know what your personal problem is but Penn State lost that game. Ohio State didn’t win it.
I've watched every PSU and OSU game since PSU joined in the early 90s and it's the same excuse for SOME PSU fans every year - we gave the game away or the refs took it from us. After 8 losses in a row and what - 9 out of the last 10 ? - the excuses start to get comical - really comical. Even in the game day won in 2016, go back and look at the game stats - OSU dominated the stats.

As for the game 2 weeks ago, even after PSU was stopped at their one yard line on 4th down, there was still plenty of time left (over 5 minutes) and it came down to crunch time and the manhood of each team. OSU pounded it on the ground with a patchwork OL for over 50+ yards on 11 straight running plays. Game over. Enough said

PSU defense quit on that drive.

I'm not arguing with you as I'm not a fan of either school - I follow the B1G in general (Northwestern grad). My point in my previous posts was that the constant BS about "giving games to OSU and the ref bias stuff" gets old after 8 straight years of OSU winning. Maybe, just maybe OSU has had the better teams during those years and earned those wins. Just saying

OSU definitely had the better teams during those years, but then getting the huge majority of calls adds to the difficulty in beating a team with more talent.

But if you go to some of the OSU (and Michigan) sites, they also bring up and complain about the ref calls constantly going against them. I was bouncing around the OSU and PSU sites during this year's PSU-OSU game and their fans were going ballistic on how their 2 DEs - Sawyer and that JTT guy - were getting held and mugged by the PSU OL on almost every play.

Last year, the OSU fans were really complaining about how Michigan was getting the calls and holding. And they had B1tching 3 years in a row about the refs possibly costing them games against Harbaugh and Michigan. BS OSU, they beat you 3 years in a row. Shut the eff up and man up when you're playing Michigan

My point: fans only want to remember the calls that go against them and isn't it funny how almost all of the complaining comes from the losing team?

Ummmmm...... anyone watching that game knows it was called in an utterly one-sided fashion - there are multiple national media articles on the topic and FOX's Crew literally stated on 5 different occasions that duhO$U got away with uncalled OL Holding or illegal contact in the Defensive Secondary! They didn't say it once regarding PSU - go figure. LMAO

But how many calls that were clearly wrong based on play went against either OSU or Michigan and the call stood? I’d guess none.

Go to Eleven Warriors (OSU) and they'll throw a ton of iffy calls at you especially their "perceived" constant holding every year by an overmatched PSU offense. My point - every fan base has their gripes when they lose - it just can't be that the other team is better. OSU had all kinds of ref complaints the last 3 years against Michigan - they lost all 3 games. See a pattern here? Fans only remember the questionable calls they want to remember. Go to a Nebraska board and you'll see what I mean

Gee, can you explain to me how both scUM and duhO$U have sub-.500 records over the past 50 years in games Officiated by non-b1g crews??? LMFAO that duhO$U and scUM don't benefit from this bushleague's homecooking.

How many were called on us? Or did our OL and DBs not hold once?
You all sound crazy--actually some of you are
If you truly believe half of what you're saying the fact you watch the sport is absurd

I get it….and OSU was the better team, but no unbiased person could possibly look at these games and feel that PSU got the benefit of the doubt in terms of officiating.

IOW, in the CFP Playoffs PSU picks up advantage from non-b1g Officiating and duhO$U loses advantage in the CFP.....

Just like Joe except Joe lost to a lot bad teams. Averaged 9-3 a season for his career. Most of that career he did not play Michigan or Osu who he has a losing record against. Dont forget Joes annual Iowa loss.

Fake News. Sure the winningest coach in football history lost a few. And unlike his competition he won with college students.
