Interesting to see paterno calling the plays and being so vocal with the play calling.
That game still gets to me and the biggest play for me was the 12 men on the field penalty which would have given them a second chance to score after the 47 times they ran it up he middle. Hahha. Guman didn’t even jump. They should have given it to suhey again.
But a 15 yard penalty for 12 men. Man that was terrible.
Amazing how the refs didn’t call late hits out of bounds and pass interference like they do now. Today is so mamby pamby in comparison I swear. Of course lineman were 235 and not 335 back then.
I know how Miami felt after 1987 because we were clearly the better team in 1979 but like 1986 we were star gazing at just being there.
