Watching the ESPN Rose Bowl coverage this morning

3 losses with one being a bad loss compared to two losses with no bad ones....not a toss up.
We didn’t get the chance to get beat by OSU a second time. Wisky beat the other team that beat us. SMDH. Yes a toss up.

Illinois loss makes it not a toss up....can’t just forget that one.
They beat the other team that beat us which makes it a toss up...Can’t just forget that one. There was clearly an argument for both teams, but no one except a few extremely biased PSU fans thought Wisky getting the Rose Bowl was an outrage. We could do this all night, but I’m done.

How about 3 losses to 2...do we forget about that too? How convenient that we forget all the negatives against Wiscy but not PSU.

I was listening to the Jim Delany interview on The Audible podcast last week...and I seriously wondered if Delany didn't want his last day in the limelight, his last Rose Bowl as commissioner to include the ungrateful step-child in the league (the fan base that boo-ed his highness in the 2016 Big Ten title game). Pretty sure he could've sent a memo to the playoff committee that final weekend saying keep Wiscy above PSU...no skin off of the committee's back.

I thought Wisconsin had a better case since they hadn't been to the Rose since the 2012 season...but they had been there three stinking years in a row before that?!?!?

Anyway, I wouldn't put it past Delany and crew. Sad politics...

Someone else mentioned that as well and I had never thought of that angle. Sure does make a lot of sense.
