Consideration for Sister Sledge - WE ARE family - as part of the stadium music for homecoming. The theme fits the team's demeanor...and homecoming is about the "Penn State Family" coming together...

"...Living life is fun and we've just begun to get our share of the world's delights.....(High!) high hopes we have for the future...and our goal's in sight...have faith in you and the things you do"

Easy song for everyone one to sing along..WE ARE...

Would we have to wear ugly mismatched uniforms too???

The administration certainly hasn't treated the alums like "family" the past 6 years.

Most certainly, based on their actions, most the the current and past BOT is not, have not been, and never will be, a part of the Penn State family. They have sought their posts to boost themselves and their pocketbooks by trying to associate with the REAL Penn State family...unfortunately many have succeeded.

And forget the 70's Pirates stuff...simply throwing out a consideration for a song that might fit the situation. You hear some version of the current songs played at Beaver Stadium at athletic venues around the USA weekly...just suggesting something a little different....We Are unique, and wouldn't it be nice to have a few songs expressly PSU?...and with some creativity many of our student songwriters could pen a Penn State version of "We Are Family"...We Are Nit..ta..ny, I got all my Lions with me...

Nice to see everyone posting their family portraits...always wondered about the faces behind the avatars...

I saw a bunch of games that year. What a great season. Does anyone remember the home series with the Phillies? I think it was in late July or August?
Yes, it was in August. Went to the Sunday doubleheader. Bucs were down I think 8 - 3 in the first game, won it on a John Milner grand slam 12 - 9. Also won second game.

I was there also. Had some friends from Philly come in for the weekend. If I'm not mistaken, that was a five game series that the Bucs swept. Funny thing was, in this particular game Milner pinch hit for Ed Ott who had gone four for four.
