I just noticed that one of my apps has a point spread out for the UCF at Pitt game for the following Saturday. Pitt is plus 1.

UCF is the #17 ranked team in the country and they are only favored by 1.
PSU is #13 and they are favored by 17.5 over Pitt.

Granted PSU is at home and UCF has to travel to Pitt but that’s still a huge difference in spreads between these two games.

Likely a mistake...highly doubtful that anyone would actually be taking action at that line. It’ll be closer to a touchdown.

Got to be a mistake...Stanford is an 8.5 underdog to UCF this week...I can’t imagine anyone feels Pitt would give them a better game than Stanford would.

one of the major media services has us beating spitt something like 50-16 (maybe 51). I gather they think we should lay the 17 and bet the ranch, the house, the car, the wife...

On FanDuel you can beat psu and pitt games the rest of the year. As of yesterday, pitt was only +4 against UCF. You better believe I bet UCF there. I also got psu -13.5 against Pitt because I bet it a week early on there. Seems like you can get some good lines that way.

What are the limits? Thanks.

I think it’s something very high like $1m per wager. They run a promo where they give you up to a $500 risk free bet for new accounts. If you lose they refund you on site credit. Of course I lost my risk free bet. You have to be in PA though to have the site work for betting. Not sure about NJ.

Pretty soon the PA legislature will allow you to upload a picture of your vehicle title or deed to the house to bet on these sites as long as they get “revenue” from it somehow.

Whoever set that line for UCF probably saw the same game last night that Pitt troll saw. You know, the one where Ohio crushed Buffalo? So they now think Pitt is sneaky good and will give UCF a game.
