There has been so much noise as of late about college basketball programs cheating with more to come. You turn on the TV and the show goes on despite all the noise like nothing has happened. Where's the outrage from all those that denigrated our football program constantly? Well anyhow Go Penn State.

Ummm..you don't understand why the public would be more outraged our alleged pedophilia than they would be about players being paid when we all already knew that was going on?

They all make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ off of basketball, don't kill the goose that lays the golden egg.

78 I get that angle along with the NCAA machine. The recruiting violations involved more than just money. I t involved drug use, prostitution, academic fraud, and there is more to come. Have you heard any of the commentators even speak of these issues. I am resentful how the talking heads made the Sandusky issue into a Penn State football issue but a real cheating scandal is mute.

But do you notice what every other program does in these situations? The school fights. They don't sign consent decrees. We (the school) made it a football issue and the media ran with it. Then, while everyone else was talking about the kids our fan base was focused on the BOT's firing of Paterno. It was a perfect storm created by Penn State...the media didn't help but it was largely self-inflicted IMO. Notice Arizona didn't fire Miller? They let things play out

I can tell by your use of “our” that you must work for the second mile.

78 is actually Dave Jones from Pennlive. He is horribly traumatized being an Ohio St grad in PSU territory and having to cover PSU sports. So the venom enters his every post. "Our", "We" is used in the trolling effort only.
