What if Barkley Honored His Commitment to Rutgers?

I know this is blasphemy. What if Barkley honored his initial commitment to Rutgers? How would that have changed the Rutgers program, if at all? How would it have affected Penn State's resurgence? How would it have affected Barkley's development as a player? Can one player change the football program of a school?
