Anyone have an idea why/how EIWAs are dropping flo for breach of contract?

If you can believe the internet they are in the middle of a 3 year contract and are opting out after this weekend.

They are stupid like @smalls103, the Eastern Inbred Wrestling Asshat. Suck it, Willie.

Kinda OT, but how has Austin fared in the Covid era? I know Texas doesn't exactly lead the nation in shutdowns/restrictions/etc, but has their super vibrant music scene suffered? Just curious. @Chickenman Testa ?

PS--not trying to generate a Covid debate--we have a thread for that. Just have great memories of the city, and hope it's doing allright.

I don't know what's going on in the wrestling world there. I do hear though that they have some pretty big caverns in Austin for those who are into spelunking, but I can't say I've been there personally.

And some who were actually there when this was raised are saying that there is no truth to this rumor.

For a community that seems to consist of 3 companies and about 10 dudes, the amount of drama surrounding wrestling media is astounding.
I think this all the time. I'm a fan of a number of "niche" sports, and wrestling- the streaming services, the weekly reporting- are by far the most dramatic - the most unprofessional... the good news is: I believe the next generation of coverage/podcasts are very good. Hope for the future. I hope someday we won't need to hear Twitter battles from those who are supposed to be the leaders in covering our sport. It's just a bad look.

My time is NOW! I have all kinds of feelings about Flo. Primarily, their business model of cannibalizing niche sports then criticizing any and all competition, even when they themselves offer inferior product. Case in point, I’ve watched numerous Flocasts and have had a problem each time, however i was somehow in the the group of people that saw like 8 of 10 Okie State matches that dual before I had to go to Fbook live. Inversely, I’ve watched a decade’s worth of NCAA’s on Espn3/WatchEspn/Espn+ and there was one year where one mat went down for a handful of matches and it was corrected before the session ended.
