What was Allen upset about on DaeSean's 2nd TD?

Hamilton had a hand on him before the catch, but it wasn’t much. It was a good no call.

Congrats on the all time reception record. Honestly had no clue that he was even close. Anyone know how many yards he is behind Butler?

Bobby Engram is number 1 at 3,026 yards. Hamilton is number 10 at 1,985 + what he has so far this year. Tough.

Edit: He has 331 yards so far, so 2,316. That moves him up to number 5 behind Derek Moye, Godwin, Allen Robinson, Butler and Engram. He needs 711 to pass Engram.

Well, the push off by Hamilton WAS called.

Allen went ape-shit because the official that called it was overruled and the flag picked up.

Honestly think it was the right call as the flag came from the back center of the end zone while the official right on top of the play on the sideline was the official that lobbied for no PI.

Wow. Thought Butler had the record. Didn’t realize Engram had it in 3 years.
Just edited the post.

If you watch Hamilton's TD there should have been a face mask called on the Indy DB after the catch. No flag.

while we are talking about calls....I think the officiating was mostly good but on one catch on the sideline by Juwan Johnson the defensive back that tackles him hits him right square in the lower facemask with the crown of his helmet....thought that was targeting....Johnson's head didn't violently snap back and the ref ignored it

Allen better quickly figure out what's worth getting excited about or he's either going to have a stroke or have about 30 players who will be willing to put up with his act. That would get old really quick. He looked like an ass.

Allen was the most out of control coach I can remember.....anywhere. That will not help recruiting. Fumble and you are publicly excoriated.

You believe his sideline demeanor is even less professional and stupider than Duzzy??

I guess that would put him at #1.

Indiana has Allen and Kelly coaching teams. Does Purdue have a hot headed d1ck for a coach to complete the trifecta?

He was as "unhinged" as Nardouchy was during the VT game last year.
I thought the NCAA and refs were going to put a stop to that this season?

Saw the same thing and was shouting at the TV for the call, nothing happened? With the emphasis on helmet to helmet hits this was text book.

Allen, a stroke in the making but I too saw him take time with Franklin post game in a genial manner and with other players too so it mitigated my impressions of his in game behavior.

The flag thrown was by a ref not in position (so it was picked up).. my impression was it was the guy near the goal posts. If so, what that guy should have easily seen was the facemask.. but maybe I got the wrong dude.

End of the day, good fight between the 2 players with our guy winning. Didn't see anything in the hands battle that warranted a flag. But i'm biased...

As crazy as he was during the game, he's not anywhere as crazy as Harbaugh.

Post game on the field, he spent time congratulating several PSU players and spent considerable time talking with Barkley.
Yeah, I don't think he's a bad guy. If I was him, that 1st quarter would have frustrated the hell out of me for the rest of the day. He's a new head coach and I think he just lost it a bit. Calmed down at the end of the game and congratulated the PSU players.

Totally agree. I've seen this movie before. You put a career assistant in the Head Coach's position, and they just do not see the big picture. To get so excited and lose composure does not translate well to on-field success. I will be surprised if he is there beyond two years.
