I'm hoping UCF doesn't jump us
GA
AL
CLEM
OK
OSU
WI
PSU
UCF
ND
TCU

edit.... I was accused of being ND loving, which really hurt :) so ND should be 10 and TCU 9.

It will be interesting though to see what they do with UCF.

If I'm going to continue to maintain that our 1968, 1969, and 1994 teams should have all had at least a share of the mythical championship - and I am- then my #1 has to be UCF

I really don't think it matters where we end up. It will be somewhere in the top 10. Finished #7 or #8? Just doesn't matter. But I think top 10 finishes still are an important measure of a program and we'll have back to back top 10 finishes. Just another positive for Franklin to stress out on the recruiting trail.

IMO Clemson should drop

They looked dreadful- combine that with a bad loss to Syracuse and I’m not sure they are a top 5 team

Really? - A 9-3 #14 ND beats a #17 LSU so convincingly that they are a top 10 team? Sounds like some of you are as biased as the ND loving press. Washington and USC deserve to be there above ND. Sorry irish lovin folks but ND is not a top 10 team.

Since I don't want to ever be accused of being ND loving, I will agree with you and edit and drop them a notch, they kicked USC's ass, so they will be 10 instead of nine.

My top 10
1-2 Georgia/Bama
3Oklahoma
4Ohio State
5Wisconsin
6Penn State
7UCF
8Clemson
9TCU
10Auburn

Likely top 10
1-2 Georgia/Bama
3Oklahoma
4Ohio State
5Clemson
6Wisconsin
7UCF
8Penn State
9Notre Dame
10Auburn

I know people see 4 losses for Auburn and think them being in the top 10 is a joke but with them going 2-1 against the two teams playing for the title they won't drop out of the top 10 IMO

The Pac XII is awful. I hate ND and I wouldn't have them in the top 10 but I'd have them above USC (who they beat) and Washington (who beat no one)

I think Clemson has to come out of the top 5.
They looked bad last night and the were horrible against SU.

I'd Go.
GA
Alabama
UCF
OSU
Wiscy
PSU
Ok
Clemson

Oklahoma lost in double OT and you think they fall from 2 to 7 and behind a team they beat in Ohio State on the road by 2 scores?
If you bump OU to 3 I think that's a reasonable expectation
Just no clue what they do with UCF

I think all of the polls and the BCS should have a rule: If you lose to a team that ends up with a losing record, then you are automatically disqualified from being in the top 15. Miami and Clemson have no business being in the top 15 and Clemson had no business being in the 4 team playoff. The loss to Syracuse should have disqualified them.

I don't see why Clemson should be above us. We each have two losses and one of their losses was to putrid Syracuse. We should be ranked above Clemson.
That's a valid argument, but I just don't think it will happen. Poll voters will note that Clemson was in the Playoff, and that its second loss came at the hands of Bama. I project Clemson dropping to No. 6, with PSU immediately below them.

Curious as to why you decided Wisconsin above Ohio State?

I would flip those for following reasons:
  • Ohio State beat Wisconsin head-to-head a couple of weeks ago
  • OSU dominated USC from start to finish
  • Would rank USC as a better opponent than Miami

I agree, we will likely finish as high as 6,or as low as 8; but until we finish #1, CJF mission is still ongoing!!! I am on the same mission and hope we get there as early as next year!!!!
