just thinking about that last play against Iowa . . . it is a shame that Saquon doesn't get any Heisman recognition for his pass blocking, which (to me) is just as critical as his other offensive stats.

He also serves as a great decoy if Michigan stacks the box to stop him (saw this work very well against NW)

your thoughts?

Receiving. That will in turn open up some running lanes as well. I look for a big day from him in the air (something like Iowa). But I think Trace and the receivers take the game over...

I don't think Michigan will be kicking off much on Saturday, so that limits his touches there. He could still do something special though. I think Michigan will focus on limiting SB's effectiveness running the football, and I don't think they will blitz a ton because they can likely get pressure with their D line. SB will chip and help with pass blocking, but will also get the ball outside the tackles and in space through screen passes and a few wheel routes. I think he will end up with more receiving yards than rushing yard... if he is somehow able to get a few holes opened up in the running game, however, it will not be pretty for Michigan. Their only hope is to shut down Barkley and hope that Trace doesn't beat them.

Early on, as a decoy. Then, as the game wears on and Michigan's D wears out, he'll get his yards via both the run and pass. Agree that PSU, as a team, will not see many kickoffs on Saturday.

Given his talents and threat from anywhere in the field. The fact that he is out there regardless of touches or how he touches is a huge difference in every game against every opponent.

On the bench (TIC). He obviously is the focus of opposing defenses. With him on the bench they lose their focus. The nations perception of Penn State also focuses on Barkley. Gee, only 75 yards against NW, but 300+ passing yards? Yawn.

know what I forgot to put there?

as a frikking DECOY. how great was it to watch Trace fake a hand off to SB, and watch the ENTIRE defense bite?
