Following up on a post that asked what were your top 10 Penn State games you attended I thought I'd ask, "Which game in Penn State history do you wish you attended but for whatever reason did not?"

For me the 1982 Sugar Bowl versus Georgia.

Saw my first game in JVP's first year. Saw his last bowl game...wish I could have been at his last one.

Same here with the 1986 Fiesta Bowl-was very fortunate to see the 1982 sugar bowl win along with Joe's 100, 200, 300, 324, 400 and 409th wins.

Two games.

86 Fiesta Bowl- greatest game ever in my opinion.

Joes last game. I rarely miss a home game. My dad died the Thursday before. We watched the game while we planned his funeral (he wouldn't have wanted it any other way). The missed field goal at the end went right at his seats (handicap at the top of the student section). I've always felt he had a hand in pushing that kick wide right.

1. Joe's very first game as head coach.
2. Any game when Jack Ham was suiting up for the Lions.

Fine, I'll be the one to say it, I really wish I was at the OSU game this year. As a 34 year old die hard fan, this year has felt like such a coronation to me.

Bucknell in 1881. That would make me 135 years old, with the mind and body of a man 1/2 that age.

You ask a lot of good poll questions. Obviously, I would like to have been at the MNC game in Tempe. I noted that a lot of people said that, but I was at a wedding when we beat Michigan in 4 OT and although I wanted to be at that wedding (daughter of an eternal friend of mine) I would have had a lot of fun at that Michigan game. I know there were more important games but that one would have been a sweet sip.

Thanks Victor. I had thought about the Fiesta bowl but that would of been excruciating and exhausting to watch in person. It was nerve wracking watching it on tv.

The unadulterated joy of the first one and that I never felt threatened by the Bulldogs plus celebrating in Tempe vs. N'awlins afterwards seems like an easy call.

Either Rose Bowl. (maybe this year)

The 1994 classic at Illinois.

I had thought about the drive but to me that was more a sigh of relief than a celebration afterwards. To Joe it was no doubt one of those moments when a team has to face and overcome adversity to prove how good it is.

Lucky enough to be at 48-14 and '87 Fiesta and '79 Sugar, so has to be '82 Sugar Bowl.

'87 Fiesta Bowl. Although if I was Marty McFly, I'd love to see Lenny Moore play at old Beaver Field or even go way back to the days of Shorty Miller, Pete Mauthe, and Dex Very a century ago.

The only one of the games mentioned I missed from the Joe era and beyond was the OT with Michigan. I have been very fortunate.

Interception Giftopoulos !!! Heartstopping.

1982, 1986, 48-14. For sheer joy, I'm not sure the 2005 tOSU game could be beat (but I was at that one).

Outside of the obvious answer of the two national championships, I'd say Notre Dame 1990. Would have loved to have been in South Bend to watch us knock off the #1 team in the country at their place (especially with how good of a game it was).

Both the '82 Nebraska game (was a sophomore at PSU but went to The Who concert in Philly) and '83 Sugar Bowl (had a friend with extra ticket but didn't have the $$$ to go).

Plenty others including '02 Neb, '13 UM 4 OT (gave tickets to FIL and BIL) and '16 O$U. But I've been at many good ones including '87 Fiesta, '87 ND and '05 O$U.

tough call between PSU v Texas in 1970 Cotton Bowl and PSU v kNU in 1995 shoulddabeen bowl.

They didn't play? Whew... then lay it all on '87 Fiesta.. with a sidecar chaser to 48-14

'82 Sugar Bowl, my senior year. One of the prominent players from that team had a thing for my then girlfriend (who would become my wife). He brought back a program from the game, autographed with his signature. Guess he thought that would impress her. She gave it to me .

Joes last game. I blew it off due to weather. I clearly screwed up.

I was at Joe's last game, it was a brutal day in terms of weather. Snow and wind to beat the band. Wife was freezing and left way early. At the last kick attempt I guess 40-50k fans. Place was loud for the snap then went silent while the ball was in the air, you could hear it doink off the upright. Great then, unforgettable now after the fact.

I was there as well...my friend and I toughed it out unlike our wives who left at halftime...stayed through the video presentation in the locker room

For a non NC game the Texas game is a great pick. How sweet would it of been to watch Penn State, the non-respected team from the East, shut down Texas' vaunted "unstoppable" Wishbone offense in The Cotton Bowl in their home state a year after they were given a national championship instead of a better Penn State team.
