Obviously, both are critical to the success of the team but I was interested in getting some perspective from the board. One reason for the request is to better understand the dynamic created because of our offensive success, where Moorhead is nearly as important as Franklin in the eyes of some. I'm of the belief that Franklin would be able to replace Moorhead if he moved on. I'm also in the camp that believes Joe will be here for a few years. Time will tell.
As to the question, my current slant is toward Barkley. He is so important to everything that we do on offense that I can't imagine it running at anywhere near as high a level without him in the backfield. The other back possess some of Barkley's traits but not anywhere close to all of them. He would make every offense better, even some of our historically worst. This offense certainly magnifies his abilities but I don't think that we come close to being the prolific offense expected without him.
