Hagans is beyond cooked. 0 wr catche vs Notre Dame, entire wr room transfers. Now he loses a Harrisburg WR top 10 player in PA to Rutgers.

Who should his replacement be?

Good question but I would like to see some suggestions. While this thread is probably a bit premature, I don't care. Lets see those suggestions folks.

He is still employed with PSU. It is very premature to have this discussion. I want him gone too, but he may still be here next season.

The first call should be to Hines Ward who did a very nice job at ASU. He not the greatest athlete but was an elite route runner and blocker. Plus he's a high energy guy. We should be able to pay more than ASU

It should be a big name past Penn State receiver so top recruits can be attracted. A Bobby Engram type.

Ingram is 52 I think, not too long in the tooth yet but. Who of note has he recruited or produced so far? I only ask because I don't know. Just me but I doubt he would be on the radar.

As we know JF has relationships with coaches all over the country. He may be talking to a few wr coaches and if he knows he can get one he wants then Hagans will be let go.

Engram is coaching wrs in the playoffs currently. He’s out of reach it seems.

The same people complaining about losing this kid would be complaining if we signed the #20 player in PA (rivals) or #17 player in PA (247). A 3 star. How was the WR recruiting last year?

WOW Washington Commanders. That's pretty good I think to be coaching wide receivers in the Pro Playoffs. What would be the chances he would want to come back to the grind of coaching college football? Could we afford him? I admit I pay little to no attention to pro sports these days. I did not know he was in the pros.

I don't care about losing the kid...I dont think it's a big deal at all. Still ready to move on from Haggans though.

He's not coming back to PSU.

I really dont care who they replace Hagans with. There's just no reason to keep a coach where the WRs do not perform year after year. JF jettisoned Yurcich without batting an eye and Hagans deserves a similar fate.
