In the past years it appeared (watching the sideline) that JF called many offense plays. Is Moorhead calling the plays now. Maybe I have it wrong. Thanks in advance.

Before you get the answer........tell me why you're curious

I'm getting old so maybe my memory is wrong, I thought that JF carried the play chart and looked at it often.... Last game I thought that Moorhead was calling the offense plays. Thanks.
Maybe I have to pay more attention to the sidelines :)

Ah forget it

Franklin said in an early presser that Moorhead calls the plays unless he wants something specific called based on the game situation.

At the conclusion of the Purdue game, my son and I moved to the first row of seats behind the bench. Moorhead was actually calling to the field who he wanted the Q to read. He literally called out the number during one of those - stop and look to the sideline moments.
I'd say the play calling is all on Coach Moorhead.

This... but jimmy Franks I'm sure chimes in when he sees fit, or just because he can.

Ahh the days of McQueery getting his butt chewed by Joe on the sideline. My dad used to ask my what Joe could be saying to the kid. I didn't know, but said one day Red was going to hand him the headphones and say - he's your son, you deal with him.

Lol that's good

I miss seeing Joe grab the clipboard from Fran. Well, actually not really.
