A lot of great wresling last night.

Suriano battling Gilman in the center of the mat.

Gulibon with the awesome 3rd period.

Zain gritting one out.

Sorenson brought it.

Nolf showing the gap between 1 and 2.

Meyer upsetting Hall.

Nickal being Nickal (that's why I'm allowing for 2 answers to this poll)

Need a slot for Nevills - loved his late blitz. Not many heavies would get after the tech with so little time and so much work to do
The tech was also meaningless in the context of the duel; the team didn't need Nevills to get a tech but he challenged himself. Only HWT I've seen play catch and release that well is Snyder.

Nickal is the obvious choice but I went with Suriano. A true freshman received his first official loss since Junior high school against the #1 125 pounder redshirt Sr from Iowa IN Iowa 3-2 and I saw it as Gillman playing defense in the last minute. I love Suriano but did actually think gillman was a notch above until that match. Suriano impressed yet again:) He may lose to Gilman in the end, but I guarantee Gilman is thinking about him as his biggest challenge after that match

Yes, I did consider putting him on the list. The takedowns at the end were very impressive but I didn't add him to the list because his opponent was severely overmatched and a TF was really no surprise.

I am going with Jimmy and Bo, Jimmy seems to get a lot of abuse on the these forums and great to see him gut out that win in the third period. Really excited that he kept coming and with Bo he just does things that not only could i have never done but couldn't even imagine them doing them

So, is it looking like Jimmy can earn a seed? Should beat Illinois, NW, and Maryland rather comfortably. Needs to beat Cole Martin. A win over Luke Pletcher and a decent Big Ten tourney could secure one.
