Who was the proprietor of JOEMUSTGO.COM?????

Coveydidnt

To the contrary, I have always been a Joe Supporter.

I do think he made a terrible and arrogant overreach in Nov 2001, but that's pretty much all the criticism I can muster.

The website was likely funded by Tom Bradley. Who else stood to benefit as much?

If the Jerry scandal hadn't happened, Joe would have coached what, two more games anyhow? And then Bradley would have still coached the bowl & probably would have inherited the position in 2012.

No, no, you're getting things mixed up.

I'm the owner of JoeBOTSmustMOVEON.com

Proving constantly that you are one of the few and most obsessed only DelusionalAntiJoeBots (Davey Jones Men) left on earth. Here's how it works, mature people with an iota of sense recognize that absent any definitive evidence, there will disagreement by humans on any topic, let alone a topic so steeped in emotions. On the other hand, immature pussies will pick at that sore for eternity to get a rise..... as a method to achieve some weird form of identity or self worth. You fit in category 2. I hope you find true self worth some day and give Your Crusade a rest.

It was definitely me. Not really, but let's be honest... Joe was holding the program hostage the last 10-15 years. We should have had more sustained success over that time than what we did. 1999 should have been a NC contending year.

JMO but I dont think Tom was ever in the mix.

Who flew the plane near the stadium demanding the statue be removed? At least now Jay will find out where they are hiding it.

No, I don't think so. The reason for this is the record of the athletic department in the 5-6 years before the incident. They went away from PSU or PSU-related hires for all of the minor sports in that era. Think Cale Sanderson, Coquese Washington, Bob Warming, Robbie Wine, and Pat Chambers--and there are many others. Very little to no PSU connections in that group. I think they realized that they were getting too inbred and insular in the athletic department. So I think they would have gone in the same direction with football. Now they likely would have had a wider pool to choose from. That said, we did just fine with the guys who were hired. While I was unhappy at the time in the way it went down, it probably was a good thing that BO'B didn't stay too long. It's tough to replace a legend--anywhere. He was a decent transition coach.

It was. They just lost a couple key games. It happens. And they were contenders in 2005 and 2008. 2005 was an amazing year--made all the sweeter by the criticism (not unjustified) in the couple of years prior. That 2005 win over tOSU was one of the highlights of my years as a season ticket holder (1985-2012)

They were two great seasons and 2009 was nice as well. 9 wins probably should have been the floor during those last 10-15 years with how terrible the conference was overall and how weak our OOC schedule generally was (outside of Miami and Bama).

I don't know anything about the website, but I probably agreed with it. Joe selfishly stayed way too long and hurt the program. it was really frustrating when he quit visiting recruits and had members of his staff who did very little recruiting. The last few years, he often couldn't even be on the sidelines of games due to health problems. It was also negligent of the administration to let him get away with it. He should have been dragged out of his office kicking and screaming if necessary.

Wasn't he the coach that was in charge when our STARTING QB got knocked out in the locker room and didnt play in the bowl game? I'd pass on Tom even though I liked the guy.

I love to know who was behind that whole thing. I really think it was someone with BOT connections, as the statue went away pretty quickly.

Of course. If you KNOW that they (PSU) is going to remove the statue, then flying the plane comes off as genius. If I have inside info that Trump is going to be impeached by the House, then me going on talk shows demanding impeachment makes me look like a genius.

Of course, it was an inside job. From top to bottom, this was orchestrated.

The website was circa 2000-2004. Oddly, in 2005, the website became obsolete. Hmmm...I wonder why?

The owner of that site, on more than one occasion during spats with other posters on his sites message board section claimed to have degrees from both Penn State and Texas. There was/is a poster on FOS that use to make the same claim, but the name escapes me at the moment.

The site remained somewhat active during the 2005 season. The owner always said he would take the site down when Joe had a winning season again, when the '05 season rolled around he failed to live up to his word. The message board section of his site was flooded by a few mischievous rapscallions who called him out for not living up to his word and hijacked the forum, he shut down the message board, leaving the main site up for a bit longer claiming he was selling the site to somebody else. The site shut down not long after that.

I've always assumed it was Stern and his group.
Isn't it an act of God (only knows) that the immaculate email came to the Centre County DAs office the day after Corbett was elected? Why did it go there? I wonder if that was to camouflage relationships between the author and others engaged in aspects of the investigation? So many legitimate questions about this investigation.

Yep, JVP really sucked. The last 7 years his record was 66-20 with victories in the Capital One, Orange, Outback and Alamo Bowl. He was senile and could not coach, his idiot son was worthless and all the S/C concepts were antiquated. None of his assistants were worth anything to anyone else. They didn't recruit anyone of note....not Poz, Tamba Hali, Bowman, Hodges,Lee, Mauti, Zordich, Crawford, Gilliam,Maybin, Norwood, Stupar, Wake....just to name a few....most of whom are still in the NFL. Amazing how well the damn program did considering it was a completely rudderless ship.
