Penn State lost schollies because our BoT either panicked or had other agendas, otherwise as many legal experts have eluded, the NCAA would have had their asses handed to them upon appeal of their sanctions.

There is to this day not a single piece of real evidence linking Penn State to what Sandusky did. If there was any such evidence, why did the NCAA walk back the sanctions? Why is the state dragging its heals with the trial of the 3 individuals accused of covering up for JS (haven't even sniffed a court date almost 4 years later)?

So go ahead and cry "delusion" and I'll retort with "lazy"...maybe you should try to read a little bit before you post about things of which you apparently have no comprehension.

That wasn't in the cards. At all. Look at the hires PSU was making before that in other sports. They realized they'd gotten ingrown and were hiring from outside PSU in almost *all* cases, the one exception being a coach who'd had a GA at PSU. They would have followed that in football too.
