Why do you call a timeout and ice your own kicker?

To clean the field for the kicker
How about that someone who has a clue. Maybe all the Franklin haters can explain to us how James screwed up on Stout’s missed PAT today.or all the other critical missed FGs this year. I’ll wait because this ought to be “good”.

Here... WTF is Stoudt kicking FGs....
My dog could piss the ball through the uprights within 30 yards more than Stoudt!

Stoudt should not be kicking FGs 40 and under. First bad coaching decision. Secondly, I don't care if the field has snow on it, you don't ice your kicker. But his is just one in a long line of bad decisions. Every game there are one or two headscratchers, but yet PSU thought that they should pay this guy $7 million a year. If I were made athletic director today, I would buy him out tomorrow.

How is no one griping about the penn state offense insisting on running the ball against MSU when they could have scored at will through the air? Michigan’s coach Harbaugh did the exact same stupid thing and it cost them the game. MSU’s pass defense is ranked 130 out of 130 and that ranking doesn’t do it justice. The 129th ranked defense is light years better statistically.

Don't worry we're getting our second wind.

Saw an article that said PSU played against the worst pass D in the country today and yet threw the fewest passes against them of anyone this year.

Think about that. We have no running game and are playing the worst pass D but we insist on running the ball.

We forced our weakness against their strength instead of using our strength against their weakness.

😡

It is just discouraging. I just dont think the player development is up to snuff. This has not been a fun year. When Clifford went down against Iowa the whole season turned on its head. Our Freshman qb was better than the guy in the system for 3 years. All those tries to beat Illinois. Down.

Our OL usually pass blocks well to give Sean some time. Yesterday, in the snow, the line was probably having problems keeping their pass blocks in the snow trying to match the quickness of the MSU line. Let us resemble some reality here.....on a good day, our line and backs have trouble picking up the red dogs, stunts, & blitzes or whatever they're called today.

Maybe he was saving it in case we got another field goal try.
We already kicked our FG in that OT.

From the rule book…
  • Each team is granted one timeout per overtime period. Timeouts do not carry over from regulation nor do they carry over between overtime periods.
