When asked about Mike position, Franklin mentioned about 4 or 5 players, but not Brooks? What's up? I thought he had a good Spring and was definitely in the conversation.

Was interesting to hear Luketa as the first name he mentioned from the group of underclassmen followed by Parsons. Plug and play?
Some were concerned about his 40, but the tape doesn't lie.

He mentioned every RB except Brown also. Some of it could be motivational.
Yeah, but he also mentioned Johnson and Cooper, then Parsons and Luketa. Recent articles over the summer seemed to overlook Brooks too. His emergence as a player couldn't come at a better time.
Luketa certainly looked the part in the spring game. It sounds like Johnson is basically going to take over Brandon Smith’s role as another in a line of solid walk on LB’s from PA.
It may be that whatever lead Brooks might have had from being here a year earlier over guys like Luketa and Parsons has been closed.
The takeaway is that it’s great to have options and the best players will establish themselves.
