This would be a wonderful troll job to see him getting them all on Team Gable just to have him end up back at Minny.
I kind of think you might be right. No matter what happens, the young man is pretty damn good at stirring people up. Bodes well for his WWE future.
With the new NCAA guidelines on gambling it is unlikely any of the wrestlers will be suspended for the entire year. It seems the only way you would miss an entire year is if you bet on your own school or sport.
What gives you any indication that they didn't bet on their own school or wrestling? I have heard a lot of rumors that are accompanied by immediate disclosure that they are only rumors and nothing more, just like everyone else. I have heard no specifics on who, what or when.
Problem is that Iowa had a perfect storm. Their WBB team and Caitlyn Clark took the country by storm and imagine the impact on a state with no pro teams. Then it seems like most thought they were a team of destiny - wouldn’t surprise if most of the student body who would place a bet hit their games hard

I have an unforced collection of PSU wrestling caps ….. you know the ones …. the ones that display the number of championships won with the hands raised wrestler on the side. I think I have 7 or 8 of these hats and I wear them when working on the farm. Most are in awful shape with white salt rings, grease, rips, and tears. I was wearing the latest yesterday (11th) when my co-worker asked me just why I keep buying the same cap over and over. I told him that it’s simple: because we keep winning national championships almost every year. My co-worker is a VT fan and he told me that they have never won a single Natty in any sport. Reminded me of how very lucky we are to enjoy what Cael bangs out.
Guessing Montana State won the trout fly fishing title that year …
